Last night I lain on bed
surrounded by sleep,
dreams,
-perhaps nightmares-
The dawn has come,
the sun has risen
and..
Still dreams have lain with me
I thought I could tame
this insomniac mind
with thoughts on love
whilst the sun rises.
I thought I could talk
my cerulean dreams
-out loud-
kill my plum nightmares
with a touch of
Scarlet evasiveness
Today I remained
another insomniac
in the reign of sleep,
and though it killed all my senses,
I could not help but fight;
for tonight..
my dreams will roam
just like each past night ..
-Actually this happened indeed, today morning I couldn't sleep; Yes I'm an insomniac!

This was beautifully written Nema. As always ofcourse. If something is stressing you, it might cause you to loose sleep. Try meditation and empty out what ever it is that is bothering you deep down, to a friend, maybe Allah, and then drift to sleep. Here's wishing you a good night's sleep :)
Sleeping is something wonderful, but when you cannot sleep, you simply cannot sleep..
loved to read this, a different approach to insomnia! :)
you know what I do when I realize that I need sleep but I'm thinking too much, I take deep breaths, and actually it helps. don't know about you, but you can try!
Stillness: Thanks sweetie :) I do read Qura'n when I'm unable to sleep, but I probably should concentrate on what I'm really saying..lol.
Sucks or not: I will make sure I try the deep breaths method, haven't tried it before but I'm guessing it would clear up all the mess in my brain haha.
